Close Visit Package – A summary of the activity

In this activity, you can close the visit package after the maintenance activity has been performed. The visit package is closed on completion of reporting of all associated work orders. The closing of the visit package signifies no pending activities or discrepancies exist as part of the visit package and the completion of reporting of all aspects related to the visit package. The “Pending” work unit associated to the visit package has to be deferred before closing the visit package.

You can close the visit package in the “Close Visit Package” page. You can view the work units that are pending for the visit package in the “View Pending Work Units” page. The visit package execution details can be viewed in the “Review Visit Package Execution” page. You can defer the pending work units in the “Create Deferment Request” page and specify the deferral limits for a work unit in the “Edit Deferral Limit” page. The created deferment request can be modified in the “Edit Deferment Request Details” page.

• Search and select a visit package in the “Close Visit Package” page.

• Close the visit package by clicking the “Close Visit Package” pushbutton.
