Approve Escalations – A summary of the activity

The “Approve Escalations” activity allows you to process the short term escalation of a work unit. You can either approve, reject or reverse the escalation of a work unit. You may also view the details of a short term escalation in this activity before you authorize, reject or reverse the short term escalation.

You can process a short term escalation, which is in the “Confirmed” status.

• Search for and select the short term escalations in the “Select Request For Escalations” page.

• Approve, reject or reverse the deferral of work units in the selected short term escalations, by clicking the appropriate pushbutton in the same page.
