Use the drop-down list box to select the aircraft for which you want to create/manage/view weight and balance or generate reports.

Help facility available.

Employee #

The ID and name of the employee who signed off the Aircraft W&B record/report.

Licence #

The licence # of the employee who signed off the Aircraft W&B record/report.

The “Sign Off Details” group box displays the following:

Sign Off Date & Time

The date and time of sign off of the Aircraft W&B report by the employee.

Sign Off Comments

Additional details/remarks on the Aircraft W&B record/report.

The “Sign Off Details” group box displays the following.

Certification Statement

The statement recorded in the Aircraft W&B record/report by the employee.

You can view the following details under Record Statistics:

Created By

The login user who created the Aircraft W&B record.

Created Date & Time

The date & time of creation of the Aircraft W&B record.

Last Modified By

The login user who most recently changed the Aircraft W&B record.

Last Modified Date & Time

The date & time of modification of the Aircraft W&B record.

Confirmed By

The login user who confirmed the Aircraft W&B record.

Confirmed Date & Time

The date & time of confirmation of the Aircraft W&B record.

Closed By

The login user who closed the Aircraft W&B record.

Closed Date & Time

Viewing latest Aircraft W&B record details

Aircraft Details card

Under the “Aircraft Details” section, you can find the following information on the selected aircraft:

4   Configuration Class

Document Details card

Under the Document Details section, you can see the following details of the selected Weighing Record#:

4   Aircraft W & B Record #

4   Exe. Doc. #

4   Created Date & Time

4   Task # | Task Sequence #

4   Record Status

Final Details card

On the right of the page, you can view the weight information of the aircraft including:

4   Empty Weight

4   Empty Weight C.G

4   Moment

4   Forward Limit

4   Useful Load

4   Landing Weight

4   Gross Weight

4   Aft Limit

Performing aircraft reweighing

Weighing Record #

Use the drop-down list box to select the Aircraft W&B record that you want to work with.

However, the latest W& B record in the Fresh/Confirmed/Closed status for the aircraft will be defaulted in the field. The search will also be enabled and details of the record will be retrieved in the page on launch of the page.

You can view the Aircraft Details,  Document Details and Final Details cards as illustrated in the “Viewing latest Aircraft W&B record details for the aircraft” topic.

The “Reference Details” group box displays the following:

Datum Point

An imaginary vertical plane from which horizontal distances are measured for aircraft weight and balance purposes. The datum point is recorded for the aircraft in the “Build Aircraft Configuration” screen.

4   Enter the following details:

Max. Gross Wt.

The maximum aircraft gross weight due to design or operational limitations at which the aircraft is permitted to land in UOM.

Weighing Configuration

The aircraft configuration based on which the aircraft weighing is carried out in kilograms. Mandatory.

Landing Wt.

The gross weight of the aircraft at which the aircraft lands in UOM.

4   In the adjacent multiline, enter the following:

Weighing Points

The locations on the aircraft that the manufacturer designates for the placement of scales when weighing aircraft.

Levelling Means

The way in which aircraft can be checked on the ground for level flight as specified by the aircraft manufacture.

For example, the aircraft may be leveled by means of leveling lugs, spirit or bubble levels, or a plumb bob.

Note: The “Create New” pushbutton will be available only if you haves selected the “Perform A/C Reweighing” radio button.

4   The following tabs will be displayed on creation of new W&B record.

o    Weighing Conditions

o    Component Weighing Details

o    Aircraft Weighing Details

o    C.G. Details

4   New W&B record for the aircraft is created in the ‘Draft’ status.

4   The Create New and Reweight buttons are no longer availabale. Instead, Confirm and Cancel pushbuttons appear.

Note: 1) The W&B record you want to reweight must be in the Confirmed or Closed status. 2) The configuration status of the aircraft must be ‘Active’.

Process Parameter dependency: If the process parameter "Print Weight and Balance Record details along with Weight and Balance Report?" under the entity type Weight and balance and the entity Aircraft W & B is set as ‘1’ for Yes, the system generates the Weight and Balance Record sheets along with the Report sheets. Conversely, if the process parameter is set as ‘0’ for No, the system prints the Weight and Balance Report sheets only.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Generating W&B report for aircraft

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the source document. The drop-down list box displays the following:

§  CR #

Enter the execution document # or component replacement # in the adjacent input box. However, if you have selected Direct as the source document type, source document # is not relevant.
