Approve Risk Assessment – A summary of the activity

This activity enables the supervisors in the Flight Operations process to evaluate and then approve, return or reject the risk assessments of employees.

The supervisors can access the risk assessments of employees and then evaluate their response scores. The response scores for the risk assessment score is categorized into three levels:

• Acceptable

• Mitgable

• High Risk

 The a defines the approval process for risk assessments. The Approver can view all risk assessments and approve the necessary ones. This activity provides the following capabilities for the Approver on Risk Assessment:

• Facility for an approver to see all Risk Assessments in pending status.

• Availability of tiles to filter Risk Assessments in acceptable range, mitigation range and high risk range.

• Facility for an approver to review the reponses in Risk Assessment, reject, return or approve the Risk Assessments.

• Facility for an approver to add mitigation comments at question level or Risk Assessment level before returning. Approver can also add rejection or approval comments at an Risk Assessment level.

• Facility for an approver to view all associated crew members Risk Assessment if trip is mentioned and crew members are associated at trip level.
