Reverse Journal Voucher – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to reverse the entries made in the journal voucher. You can reverse the vouchers in “Authorized” status. Only the “Regular” and the “Recurring” vouchers can be reversed. The original voucher entries will be reversed during reversal. The system generates a new journal voucher in “Authorized” status with the reversed entries during reversal.

The system updates the status of the voucher to “Reversed” on reversal. The system generates the new voucher in “Authorized” status. The system updates the login ID of the user to the created by and the system date to the created date.

The vouchers can be reversed if any wrong entry has been made. The system generates a new reversal voucher.

•  Go to “Reverse Journal Voucher” page.

•  Specify the reversed journal voucher details for reversal voucher.

The system updates the status of the voucher to “Reversed” and the system generates a new journal voucher in the “Authorized” status.
