Update usage tab

The system displays the following fields:

Object Coverage	Indicates the Sheet ID with object(s) with exception that is object for which usage is not reported.
Usage Modified For	Indicates any modifications made in the usage values which are included in the release as an exception for the given aircraft.

Updating Usage Details

This tab allows you to update the usage details of the selected object.

The “Update Usage” multiline displays the following.

Ex.	Indicates the exceptions for items against which there is no usage provided. or when a change in usage value is noticed.
Billing From Date	The starting date in the range of dates of billing.
Billing To Date	The ending date in the range of dates until which billing is done.

Note: The system displays the following fields if available in the contract.

Aircraft Model #	Aircraft model is an alphanumeric number which identifies a type or design of aircraft. Help facility available
Aircraft Group	A unique number identifying an aircraft group. An aircraft group is a collection of aircraft with unique registration numbers.
Aircraft Reg. #	A unique number allotted to an aircraft by the regulatory authority of the country in which it is registered. Help facility available
Aircraft MSN #	The manufacturer serial number of the aircraft associated with the customer order. Help facility available
Part #	The manufacturers’, suppliers’ or the industry standard identity for the subject part, assembly, kit or material item. Part Number when linked with its Manufacturer Code, provides a unique identity for the given item. Help facility available
Serial #	The serial number assigned to a component. Help facility available
Billing Parameter	Use the drop-down list box to specify the parameter for billing. The system lists the option below: · Flying Hour

The system displays the following:

UOM	The Unit Of Measurement
Cum. Usage	The total usage for the given object starting from contract starting date until the end date of the billing horizon.
Cum. Usage Billed	The total usage billed for the given object.
Cum. Non-Billable Usage	The total usage that is not billable across all releases for the given contract.
Billable Usage	Total Billed Usage – Billed Usage.

Act. Billable Usage	The actual total usage for billing.
Non Billable Usage	Total usage that is not billable.

The system displays the following:

Prov Billed Usage	Provisionally billed usage for the current billing period.
Net Usage	Actual Billable Usage – Prov Billed Usage
Usage Remarks	Any comments or remarks pertaining to the usage.

Note: Ensure that atleast one record in the multiline is selected.

Select the “Get Usage” pushbutton to retrieve details of the usage for the Aircraft # / Part # from the Journey log / PV Table

Note: The Get Usage pushbutton is enabled only for regular and on-demand milestone.

The system performs the following:

Supports “Get Usage” only for contracts for which Usage Update is set as “Individual Entity”.
Allows the user to enter values manually for billing in case where there is no Journey Log for the Aircraft or Part.
Allows billing only if there is no pending milestone billing.
Select the “Save Usage” pushbutton to save the updated usage details.
Select the “Confirm Usage” pushbutton to save and confirm the usage details.
Select the “One Release per Aircraft” check box if during release you wish to generate one release ID for each aircraft that is bill generated at individual tail level.
Select the “Retain Milestone for exceptions” check box if you wish to generate the same milestone for Object exceptions during generation of release in case of object coverage.

Note: The system displays the Retain Milestone for Exceptions only if there is system given milestone billing is present.

Select the Generate Release pushbutton.
Select the “One Release per Billing Element” check box if you wish to generate single release for all aircrafts and billing elements.
