Selecting a public transportation claim to edit
Select the “Edit Public Transportation Claim” link from the left pane.
The “Select Public Transportation Claim to Edit” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
From the “Reimbursement Claim Unit” drop-down list, choose the organization unit from which the employee must be selected.
Select the employee either through direct entry or through search criteria.
To select through Direct Entry
Enter the following:
Claim ID |
Enter the ID of the claim that is to be modified. |
Select the “Edit Public Transportation Claim” hyperlink beside the “Claim ID” field.
The “Edit Public Transportation Claim” page appears.
To select through Search Criteria
Enter any or all of the following in the “Search Criteria” group box.
Employee Code |
The unique code that identifies the employee. Help Available |
Employee Name |
To view the records of all employees whose names contain specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these employee names. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: Michael*, will search for those employee names that start with Michael, examples, Michael Anderson, Michael Smith and Michaels. |
Claim ID |
The unique ID that identifies the claim. Help Available |
Project |
To view the records of all employees assigned to a project, select the project name from the drop-down list. |
Claim Amount Greater than |
To view all the claim IDs with claim amounts greater than a particular amount, enter the particular claim amount. |
Claim Amount Lesser than |
To view all the claim IDs with claim amounts less than a particular amount, enter the particular claim amount. |
Claim Date From |
To view the claim IDs within a specific date range, enter the date that starts the range. |
Claim Date To |
To view the claim IDs within a specific date range, enter the date that ends the range. |
Travel Date From |
To view the records of employees who traveled within a specific date range, enter the date that starts the range. |
Travel Date To |
To view the records of employees who traveled within a specific date range, enter the date that ends the range. |
Transport Type |
To view the claim IDs based on the transport type, select the type of transport from the drop-down list. |
Employment Unit |
To view the records of all employees based on the employment unit, select the organization unit from the drop-down list. |
Status |
To view the claim IDs based on the claim status, select the status from the drop-down list. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton to view the records of all employees satisfying the search criteria you specified.
The records of the employees satisfying the search criteria will be displayed in the Search Results multiline.
Claim ID |
The unique ID that identifies the claim. |
Employment Unit |
The employment unit of the employee. |
Employee Code |
The code of the employee. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Travel Date |
The employee’s date of travel. |
Project |
The project name to which the employee is assigned. |
Transport Type |
The mode of transport opted by the employee. |
Claim Date |
The date of the claim. |
Claim Amount |
The amount claimed. |
Claim Status |
The status of the cliam. |
Note: If only one search
criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy
this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are
applicable to the selected reimbursement claim unit.
Select a claim ID that is hyperlinked from the multiline in the Claim ID column.
The “Edit Public Transportation Claim” page appears.
