Using Online help

This page enables the admin user to map training calendars to a specific organization unit. Employees can be able to request or be nominated for training that are relevant for their Employment Units.

The “Maintain Training Calendar – OU Applicability” page appears.

Training Calendar Unit

Select the name of the training calendar unit where the training calendar components are deployed. If there is more than one value, the system will display “Select” as the default value in the drop-down list box.

Organization Unit

Select the organization unit from the drop-down list box. The combo is loaded with values “All OUs” followed by all interacting Empin OUs. The system will display “All” as the default value in the drop-down list box.

Training Calendar Code

The code that identifies the training calendar.

Training Calendar Desc

The description of the training calendar that has been defined for the organization.

Calendar Period From

The start date of the period from which the training calendar is valid. Example, 1 January 2002

Calendar Period To

The end date of the period until which the training calendar is valid. Example, 31 December 2002.

Training Calendar

Select the training calendar from the drop-down list box. The combo is loaded with values of all authorized training calendars mapped to the training calendar unit. Mandatory

Note: If there is any change in Training Calendar Unit, the combo is loaded with all calendars mapped to the Training Calendar Unit selected.

Organization Unit

Select the organization unit from the drop-down list box. The combo is loaded with values “All OUs” followed by all interacting Empin OUs. The system displays “All OUs” as the default value. The system displays the training calendar description, calendar code and period in the drop-down list box. Mandatory
