Editing the module/courses for program

4 Select the “Edit Module/Courses for program” link from “Edit Program/Module/Courses for Training Program” page.

4 The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Training Calendar Unit |
The name of the training calendar unit. |
Training Calendar Description |
The description of the training calendar that has been defined for the organization. |
Training Calendar Period From |
The start date of the period from which the training calendar is valid. Example, the training calendar can be valid from 1st January 2002. |
Training Calendar Period To |
The end date of the period till which the training calendar is valid. Example, the training calendar can be valid till 31st December 2002. |
Program |
The name and the code of the program. |
4 Edit the following in the “Modules for A Program” multiline.
Module Code |
The code that identifies the module. Help available |
Module Description |
The description and code of the module. |
Start Date |
The start date of the period from which the module within the training calendar is valid. Example, a particular training module can be valid from 16th January 2002. |
End Date |
The end date of the period till which the module within the training calendar is valid. Example, a particular training module can be valid upto 30th January 2002. |
Whole Module Mandatory |
You can specify whether the entire module is mandatory or not. The drop-down list box displays one of the following values: “Yes” and “No”. You can select the appropriate value |

If “yes” is selected from the drop-down list box, the trainee has to undergo training for the entire training module. If “no” selected, the trainee has to undergo training only for the selected course, not the entire training module. |
4 Edit the following in the “ Courses For a Module” multiline.
Note: The list of module under the selected training program will get selected in the drop-down list box of module. The courses that are applicable for the selected module are displayed in the “ Courses For a Module”.
Course Code |
The code that identifies the course. Help available |
Course Description |
The name of the course is displayed. |
Course Type |
The type of the course is displayed. It displays one of the following values: technical, non technical, behavioral or any other. |
Start Date |
The start date of the period from which the course within the training calendar is valid. Example, a particular course can be valid from 20th January 2002. |
End Date |
The end date of the period till which the course within the training calendar is valid. Example, a particular course can be valid till 23rd January 2002. |
Month/Quarter |
From the drop-down list box, select the period when the course is scheduled to commence. The values in the drop-down list depend on the selection of period, whether month or quarter, in the “Create Training Calendar” page. If “Month” is selected, the names of all the 12 months are displayed in the drop-down list. If “Quarter” is selected, the values “Quarter1”, “Quarter2”, “Quarter3”, and “Quarter4” are displayed in the drop-down list. |
Training No. |
The unique number that identifies an independent course in the training calendar. The system generates and displays the training number when you save the details of the course. |
No Of Days |
The course duration in terms of days. By default, the system calculates and displays the days obtained as the difference between the “Start Date” and “End Date”, including all holidays. You can edit the number of days, if required. |
To save the details
Select the “Save courses” pushbutton to save the details
