Recording pre course discussion
Select the “Record Pre Course Discussion” link in the “Select an Employee to Record Learning Track” page.
The following fields are displayed at the top of the page.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Employee Code |
The code and name of selected employee for whom you want to record the pre course discussion details. |
Supervisor Code |
The unique code of the supervisor |
Assignment No |
The number of the assignment allotted to the employee. |
Program |
The name of the training program. |
Module |
The name of the module in the training program. |
Course |
The name of the course. |
Training No. |
The sequence number of the training course. |
Month / Quarter |
The month or quarter in which the course was conducted. |
Start Date |
The start date of the selected course. |
End Date Discussion Status |
The end date of the selected course. The status of discussion can be any one of the following

Enter the date on which the pre course discussion is held in the “Conducted On” field.
Enter remarks of the subordinate on the discussion in the “Subordinate’s Comments During The Pre Course Discussion” multiline.
Learning Objectives |
The purpose of the course. For example, Leadership Qualities and Time Management. | |
Weightage |
A number to indicate the weightage that is assigned to the objective, with respect to the other objectives in the multiline | |

Weightage(in %) |
The weightage assigned to the objective, in percentage. Example: There are three objective codes in the multiline: A1, A2 and A3. You had entered the following weightages for each objective, in the “Objective Weightage” field in the multiline: 20 for A1, 40 for A2 and 10 for A3. The system therefore takes the total as 70, and computes each objective’s weightage in percentage as follows: A1 = 28.5 %, A2= 57% and A3=14.5% |

Other Performance Factors |
The description of performance drivers that helped the employee to improve his/her work. |
Remarks |
Any suggestions, comments or opinion on the performance driver. |
Enter the following fields in the “What I hope to Learn by Attending this Training?” group box.
Performance Target 1 |
The target that the employee intends to achieve at work by means of training. |
Target Date |
The date by which the employee must achieve the performance target. |
Performance Target 2 |
The target that the employee intends to achieve at work by means of training. |
Target Date |
The date by which the employee must achieve the performance target. |
Performance Target 3 |
The target that the employee intends to achieve at work by means of training. |
Target Date |
The date by which the employee must achieve the performance target. |
Comments |
Any suggestion, remarks or opinion of the employee on performance. |
I had Pre Course Discussion with my Supervisor |
Select the check box to indicate that the employee had discussed about the course with the supervisor before its commencement. Leave the check box unchecked to indicate the contrary. |
Remarks |
The remarks of the employee on the targets and performance results. |

The date on which the supervisor recorded the comments. |

Select the check box to indicate the supervisor had discussed about the course with the subordinate prior to its commencement. Leave the box unchecked, if contrary. |

Select the course for which you want to delete the pre course discussion in the “Select Employee to Record Learning Track” page.
Select the “Record Pre Course Discussion” link.
The “Record Pre Course Discussion” page appears with the details of the selected course.
Select the “Delete” pushbutton.
