Select the “Edit Holiday master” option from the left pane
The “Select Holiday master” page appears
The system displays the following fields

Select the organization unit in which you must edit the holiday master. |
Language |
The system displays the language in which the login user logged in. This refers to the language you selected in the login screen, to access this activity. From the drop-down list box, select the language in which you require to edit the holiday master. |
Select the holiday master, either through the “Direct Entry” group box or through the “Search Criteria” group box.
Use this method if you know the complete code and name of the holiday master.
Enter the code of the holiday master that must be modified or deleted, in the “Holiday Master Code” field.
Select the “Edit Holiday Master” hyperlink.
The “Edit Holiday Master” page appears. All details of the selected record are displayed.
To edit the holiday master, refer to the topic “Editing the holiday master”.
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the holiday master code or the holiday master description. Enter these characters in the “Search Criteria” group box. The system will fetch those records that contain these characters in their codes / descriptions. From the fetched records, you are to select the required record and enter the “Edit Holiday Master” page. In this page, the details of the selected record are displayed and you can edit the details.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.

To view the holiday master codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the holiday master codes. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, HLD1*, will search for those holiday master codes that start with HLD1. Other examples are *HLD1, H*1 and HLD* |
Holiday Master Description |
To view all holiday master descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character/s of the description. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, OrgHol*, will search for those holiday master short descriptions that start with OrgHol*,. Other examples are *Org, Org*l, and *OrgHol* |
Effective From |
To view all holiday masters with a specified effective start date, type in this date. Example, if you type in “1 January 2002”, the system will fetch the entire holiday master records whose start dates are 1 January 2002. |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
Note:
If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the
records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are
applicable to the selected holiday master.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the holiday master records that satisfy the search criteria specified.

Effective From |
The start date of the period from which the holiday is valid. Example, 1 January 2002 |
Effective To |
The end date of the period until which the holiday is valid. Example, 1 January 2006 |
To select the holiday master record to edit, select the hyperlinked “Holiday Master Code” field in the required record.
The “Edit Holiday Master” page appears.
