Through this activity, the training manager can enrol employees based on training requests or sponsorships.
The Training manager can even enrol employees without a matching request or sponsorship.
New employees are automatically enrolled to induction courses.
On enrolment, notification is sent to enrolled employees and their supervisors. Once a week, the weekly course schedule together with the enrolled employees is sent to all the employees in the organization.
Course Status: Initially, the status of the course is set to "Open", which implies that enrolments are accepted for the course. When the number of employees enrolled for a course equals the maximum limit set for the course, the Training manager sets the status of the course to "Full". At this stage the requests and sponsorships continue to be accepted so as to fill the vacancies arising out of cancellations. Such requests and sponsorships are waitlisted. However, when the number of waitlisted employees exceeds a certain limit, the status of the course is set to "Closed"and the waitlisted employees are enrolled to an alternate course.
Request Status: The status of the request is set to "Enrolled" when the Training manager accepts the request or sponsorship of employees and enrolls them to the course. The employee's ROTA for the dates, on which the course is conducted, is set to "Training Day".
