Set Employee Security Parameters-A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to decide if the organization must use data level security parameters or otherwise.

Data level security should be provided to restrict users from accessing sensitive data and manipulating it.

You can set only two data level security parameters through this activity. They are:

Data Level Security Definitions Enabled. This parameter will give the organization units the flexibility of either using data level security or not.
Level of Indirect Span of Control – The level of indirect span of control till which permissions are to be given.

Note: You can define user permissions on employees only after setting the data level security parameters.
