Payroll Security Definition – An Overview
After a payroll is defined, it becomes necessary to restrict its access to only the persons who perform payroll-related operations. Unauthorized manipulation of crucial information is thereby prevented.
The Payroll Security Definition component is used to set and view the user permissions for a payroll or a payset, through the following activities that are briefly explained below.
Setting user permissions for a payroll
This activity is used to set user permissions for a specified payroll. User permissions can be set for a selected payroll. Multiple users can be given permission for the payroll; the date from which each permission is valid must be specified as well.
