Select "Set Salary Payment Status" from the left pane.
The "Set Salary Payment Status” page appears.
The system displays the following field.

From the “Payroll Payment Unit” drop-down list box, select the payroll payment unit for which salary payment status is to be set.
From the “Payroll” drop-down list box, select the payroll for which the status of salary payments has to be set.
The “Process Period” field will display the most recent process period for which processing of salary payments has been initiated. You can edit the field.
Enter the Session ID that identifies the salary payments processing, in the “Session Id” field.
The multiline displays the various paysets for which processing has been initiated or aborted, and the process status of each payset, for the selected process period. The following are the columns in the multiline.

The system displays one of the following values: “In Process”, “Performed”, “Aborted” or “Payment Process Not Done”. |
Ensure that the “Payment Status” field of the payset record in the multiline row displays “Initiated”. Otherwise, the record cannot be aborted.
Select the record by checking it in the corresponding “Select” column of the multiline.
Select the “Abort” pushbutton to abort the process.
Salary payment processing is aborted for all the paysets for which you have checked in the “Select” column.
The “Status” field of each payset for which salary payment processing was aborted will display “Aborted”, after successful execution.
Ensure that the “Process Status” field of the payset record in the multiline row displays “Aborted”. Otherwise, the record cannot be reset
Select the record by checking it in the “Select” column of the multiline
Select the “Reset” pushbutton to change the status from Abort to Reset.
Note: After you abort salary payment processing for a payset, you cannot process it again without resetting it.
The “Status“ field of each salary payment process will display “Reset”, after successful execution.
