Viewing the details of an increment set
Select the “View Increment Set Definition” link under the “Increments” component.
The “Select Increment Set” page appears.
Select the increment set ID whose details are to be viewed, either through the direct entry method or the search criteria method.
Select the “View Increment Set Definition” link, after you selected the increment set ID.
The “View Increment Set Definition” page appears. The system displays the selected increment set ID, as well as all the increment set details you had defined or edited most recently.
The system displays the following fields, which cannot be edited:
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Increment Unit |
The organization unit that you had selected in the previous page |
Increment Set ID |
The ID of the increment set that you had selected in the previous page. |
Increment Set Description |
The name or description of the increment set |
Currency |
The currency in which the increment set is maintained. |
Rated Frequency |
The unit of time based on which the increment is fixed. For example, if the increment is to be Rs 100 per day, “Day” is the rated frequency. |
Increment Type |
Either “Scale based” or “Non-scale based”, to indicate whether the increment amount is based on the employee’s scale. |
Increment Pattern |
Either “Anniversary” or “Adhoc”, to indicate the frequency for assigning the increment set to the employees. “Anniversary” indicates that the increment set will be updated to the employee’s base salary after every one year from the employee’s date of joining. “Adhoc” indicates that the increment set is updated to the employee’s base salary at other user-defined frequencies. |
Active |
If this box is checked, the increment set is not accessed by any other record, for any transaction. |
The system displays the following.
No. of Increments |
The number of increments. For example, if the employee’s scale is 2250-50-2750, the increment will be 50. If 2 increments are specified, the employee will be credited with Rs 100. |
The system displays one of the following.
Increment Amount |
A flat amount, indicate the value of the increment set |
Increment Percentage |
The percentage based on which the increment is calculated. The system interprets it to be a percentage of the employee’s base salary. |
Increment Rule |
The name of the stored procedure rule based on which increment set is calculated. The actual rule is defined using the “Define Rule” link. |
