Selecting compensation frequency to Edit

Select “Edit Compensation Frequency” from the left pane.
The “Select Compensation Frequency to Edit” page appears.
The system displays the following fields.

Select the following field.

Payroll General Info. Unit |
Select the organization unit in which you must edit an compensation frequency. The drop-down list box displays all the organization units where you have permission to edit compensation frequencies. Tell me more |
To select through Search Criteria
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the compensation frequency code or the compensation frequency description. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the compensation code or description contain. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box.

Compensation Frequency Code |
To view all compensation frequency codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these compensation frequency codes. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example. CFQ1*, will search for those compensation frequency codes that start with CFQ1. Other examples are *FQ1, C*1, Q1* and C*Q*. | |

Compensation Frequency Description |
To view all compensation frequency descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these compensation frequencies. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example. Comp*, will search for those compensation frequency descriptions that start with COMP |
Select the “Search” pushbutton. A list of records satisfying the search criteria will be displayed.
Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system
will fetch the records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are
applicable to the selected payroll general Info. unit.
The system will display records satisfying your criteria, in the multiline. The following details of each record can be viewed

Compensation Frequency Code |
The unique code that identifies each compensation frequency satisfying the search criteria. |

Compensation Frequency Description |
A description of the frequency. You can modify the description in this page itself. |
Note that you can change the description of the compensation frequency both in the “Select Compensation Frequency To Edit” and in “Edit Compensation Frequency” page.
Choose the required compensation frequency from this list, by selecting the check box beside the record in the “Select” column of the multiline.
Select “Edit Compensation Frequency” hyperlink at the bottom of the page.
Or
Select the hyper linked compensation frequency code whose details are to be modified in the multiline.
The “Edit Compensation Frequency Page” appears.
