This refers to the cells listed under “Day”, “Week”, “Month” etc, which can be edited.

For each time unit listed under the “Rated Frequency” column such as Day, you can modify the conversion factor that currently converts it into each of the other units of time listed across the top row. (Day, Week Bi-week, Week, etc.).

The conversion factor is a number that specifies the number of rated frequency time units that are equal to one unit of time in the X-axis. The conversion factor is displayed in the specific multiline cell where Day on the Y-axis converges with Week on the X-axis.

For example, the conversion factor can display 6, to indicate that the number of Days in a Week as 6. In a factory context, this conversion would be applicable for calculating wages, etc.

Page overview

Compensation frequency refers to the time intervals such as Day, Week and Month, at which the compensation is paid to employees. The basic unit of time, for which the compensation is fixed, such as Hour, Day, Week and Month, is called rated frequency. For instance, an employee’s salary is fixed at $100 per Day, and he is paid once every month. The rated frequency is “Day” and the compensation frequency is ‘Month’, in this instance.

Through this activity, you can modify all the details of the conversion table created through the “Add Compensation Frequency” activity, except for the Compensation Frequency code. You can modify the compensation frequency description, as well as all the conversion factors to convert one time unit to another time unit.

You can also modify the status of each conversion from active to inactive and vice versa. The need to specify this arises because not all the conversions in a matrix may be applicable for an organization unit.

You can change its current availability status, to indicate whether this compensation frequency must be available to
