Using online help

The  “Appraisal Template Mapping” page appears.

Appraisal Setup Unit

The drop-down list box displays the set of organization units in which the Appraisal Setup component is deployed Tell me more.

From the “Appraisal Setup Unit” drop-down list box, select the organization unit, where the appraisal template mapping has been defined.  

Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user.

Employment Unit

From the “Employment Unit” drop-down list, select the organization unit that interacts with the Appraisal Setup Unit, to access appraisal template mapping information. This organization unit must hold the Employment Information component.

Appraisal Type

Select the appraisal type under which appraisal templates must be mapped to employees.

Appraisal Calendar Code

Enter the code of the appraisal calendar for which the template mapping will be applicable.

Help Available

Calendar Short Description

If you select the appraisal calendar code through Help, the system will display the short description of the calendar. 

Template Code

Enter the code of each appraisal template to which employees must be mapped.

 Help Available

Template Description

 If you select the appraisal template code through Help, the system will display the short description of the template.

Department Code

 Enter the code of the department whose employees must be mapped to the appraisal template.

If you select the department code through Help, the system will display the department name.

Job Code

Enter the code of the job, to indicate that all employees holding this job must be mapped to the appraisal template.

Job Title

If you select the job code through Help, the system will display the job title.

Job Level

Select the job level, to indicate that all employees at this job level must be mapped to the appraisal template.  

Position Code

Enter the code of the position, to indicate that all employees holding this position must be mapped to the appraisal template.

If you select the position code through Help, the system will display the position title.

Grade Set Code

Enter the code of the grade set, to indicate that all employees under this grade set must be mapped to the appraisal template.

If you selected this grade set through Help, the system will display the description of the grade set.

Grade Code

Enter the code of the grade, to indicate that all employees under this grade must be mapped to the appraisal template.

 If you selected this grade through Help, the system will display the description of the grade.

Auto Objective Mapping

  • Check this field, to indicate that the objectives treated as system defined objectives which cannot be removed or altered and has to be compulsorily mapped to the employees.

  • Leave this field unchecked, to indicate that the objectives of this template must not be automatically made available, for appraisal.

Inactive

    If this checkbox is.

  • Checked, this mapping information cannot be used by other Activities

  • Unchecked, this mapping information can be used by other Activities

The system saves the details.

To edit the mapping of appraisal templates

The multiline will display the mapping details of all the appraisal templates defined already for the appraisal calendar.
