Mapping an appraisal template to groups of employees
Select the “Appraisal Template Mapping” link from the left pane.
The “Appraisal Template Mapping” page appears.
Enter the following
Appraisal Setup Unit |
The drop-down list box displays the set of organization units in which the Appraisal Setup component is deployed Tell me more. From the “Appraisal Setup Unit” drop-down list box, select the organization unit, where the appraisal template mapping has been defined. |
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Employment Unit |
From the “Employment Unit” drop-down list, select the organization unit that interacts with the Appraisal Setup Unit, to access appraisal template mapping information. This organization unit must hold the Employment Information component. |
Appraisal Type |
Select the appraisal type under which appraisal templates must be mapped to employees. |
Appraisal Calendar Code |
Enter the code of the appraisal calendar for which the template mapping will be applicable. Help Available |
Calendar Short Description |
If you select the appraisal calendar code through Help, the system will display the short description of the calendar. |
Enter the following, in the multiline, to map templates to employees
Template Code |
Enter the code of each appraisal template to which employees must be mapped. Help Available |
Template Description |
If you select the appraisal template code through Help, the system will display the short description of the template. |
Department Code |
Enter the code of the department whose employees must be mapped to the appraisal template. Help Available |

If you select the department code through Help, the system will display the department name. |
Job Code |
Enter the code of the job, to indicate that all employees holding this job must be mapped to the appraisal template. Help Available |
Job Title |
If you select the job code through Help, the system will display the job title. |
Job Level |
Select the job level, to indicate that all employees at this job level must be mapped to the appraisal template. |
Position Code |
Enter the code of the position, to indicate that all employees holding this position must be mapped to the appraisal template. Help Available |
Position Title |
If you select the position code through Help, the system will display the position title. |
Grade Set Code |
Enter the code of the grade set, to indicate that all employees under this grade set must be mapped to the appraisal template. Help Available |

Enter the code of the grade, to indicate that all employees under this grade must be mapped to the appraisal template. Help Available |

Enter any comment pertaining to the mapping of the appraisal templates, in the “Comments” field. Select the icon on the right, to enter additional details.
Select the “Save” pushbutton.
The system saves the details.
To edit the mapping of appraisal templates
Enter the Appraisal Setup Unit, Employment Unit, Appraisal Type and Appraisal Calendar for which the mapping to employees must be edited.
Select the “Get Details” push button.
The multiline will display the mapping details of all the appraisal templates defined already for the appraisal calendar.
Edit the required details in the multiline.
Select the “Save” pushbutton.
