How to use the web page

Using online help

The “View Training Needs” page appears.

The system displays the following details from the previous page:

Employment Unit

 The employment unit of the employee.

Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user.

Employee

The employee code and name of the employee

Assignment No.

The assignment number of the employee.

Joining Date

The date of joining of the employee

Confirmation Date

The date on which the employee was confirmed in the organization.

Appraisal Type

The type of appraisal performed for the employee. It could be one of the following:

  •  Annual Appraisal

  •  Confirmation Appraisal

  •  Contract End Appraisal  

  •   Any other user-defined through quick codes

Appraisal Calendar Code

 The code of the appraisal calendar in which the employee’s appraisal falls.

Calendar Short Description

A short description of the appraisal calendar.

Appraiser’s Employment Unit

The employment unit to which the employee’s appraiser belongs

Appraiser

The employee code and name of the appraiser

Period From

 

The start date of the period from which the appraiser is mapped to the employee

Period To

 The end date of the period from/upto which the appraiser is mapped to the employee.

Employee Appraisal Status

The status of the employee’s appraisal. It can be one of the following:

  • Pending: The appraiser is yet to appraise the employee

  • Completed: The appraiser has completed the appraisal for the employee. In other words, the appraiser has marked the “Have you completed Appraising' flag as 'Yes'.

  • In-progress: The appraiser has started the appraisal for the employee but not completed it yet

The system displays the following in the multiline

Training Needs

A description of the training needs of the employee.

Training Area

A description of the specific area or domain in which the employee required training.

Course Code

The code of the course that will provide this training.

Course Description

The description of the course

By Date

The date by which the employee must have obtained this training.

Status

The status will be any one of the following:

  • “Submit“, indicates that the training needs have been entered and saved

  • “Registered“ or “Rejected“ indicates that  the employee's training needs have been registered in the “Register Employee Based on “Request” activity of the Training Administration component or the training needs have been rejected.

  • “Enrolled“ or “Waitlisted“, indicates that the training administrator has either enrolled the employee for the course or waitlisted him.

  •  “Completed”, indicates that the employee has completed the course.
