How to use the web page

Using online help

The “View Appraiser's Objectives” page appears.

The system displays the following

Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user.

Employment Unit

 The employment unit of the selected employee.

Employee Code

The employee code of the employee who was selected in either of the following pages:

  • The “Select Employee to View Appraisal Objectives” page.

  • The View Employee Appraisers” page of the “View Employee Appraisal Mapping” activity

Assignment No.

 

The number of the employee’s assignment, for which he is reporting to the appraiser.

Appraisal Type

The type of appraisal performed for the employee. It could be one of the following:

  •  Annual Appraisal

  • Confirmation Appraisal

  • Contract End Appraisal  

  • Any other user-defined through quick codes

Appraisal Calendar Code

 The code of the appraisal calendar in which the employee’s appraisal falls.

Calendar Short Description

A short description of the appraisal calendar.

Parameter Category

The parameter category defined for the appraisal calendar.

Weightage Computation Level

The weightage computation level defined for the appraisal calendar and parameter category.

Period From

The date from which the appraiser is mapped to the employee.

Period To

 The date until which the appraiser is mapped to the employee.

Appraiser

The employee code of the appraiser selected in either of the following:

  • The “Select Employee to View Appraisal Objectives” page.

  • The View Employee Appraisers” page of the “View Employee Appraisal Mapping” activity

Appraiser’s Employment Unit

The employment unit to which the appraiser belongs

Objectives Mapping Status

The status of approval of the objective mapping, for the employee’s appraiser. It could be one of the following: “Approved”, “Pending”,  “Not defined” , "Not Applicable" .

When the status of all the objectives in the multiline are approved, it will display the status “Approved”.

The “View Objectives” multiline displays the following

Objective Group

The objective group from which you require to view objectives.

Objective Type

The type of an objective from which you require to view objectives.

Objective Description

The description of each objective assigned to the appraiser

Objective Detailed Desc.

(Desired/Outcome/Targets)

A detailed description of the objective.

Unit of Measure

The unit of measure of the quantitative target.

Quantitative Target

The quantitative target defined for the objectives.

Weightage

A number to indicate the weightage that is assigned to the objective, with respect to the other objectives mapped to the evaluation template. See example below.

Weightage (in %)

The weightage assigned to the objective group, objective type, objective group-type and objective, in percentage.

Rating Pattern

The rating pattern applicable for the particular objective.

System Rating Basis

The system rating basis applicable for the objectives.

Objectives Mapping Status

The status of approval of this objective. It could be one of the following:

  • Approved: Objectives have been defined for employee-appraiser combination, and all the objectives are approved.

  • Not Defined: No objectives have been defined for the employee-appraiser combination.

  • Pending for Approval: Objectives have been defined for the employee-appraiser combination, but one or more objectives are pending for approval.

Comments

Any remark about the objectives assigned to the employee’s appraiser.

Select the icon to the right, to view the comments in detail.

Dialogue Completed

Indicates the dialogue completed option.
