Appraisal Readiness Check – A summary of the activity
Before initiating an appraisal process for an appraisal calendar and appraisal type, you can request the system to execute a readiness check through this activity. In response, the system will identify all the employee records under the appraisal calendar and appraisal type, and check out whether the following conditions are met:
Appraisers are defined for each employee, with the weightage for each appraiser
Objectives are defined for all employee-appraiser mappings
Any objectives assigned to the appraiser are pending for approval from the appraiser
Self appraisal parameters for the appraisal calendar are not set
Retrieving the batch of records: To retrieve the employee records for which the readiness check is required, you are to specify the following combination of filters at the outset
The organization unit
The employment unit
The type of appraisal
The appraisal calendar
Viewing the Error Log: The system checks whether all these conditions are met. If it identifies any conditions that are not met, the system records them as errors and displays them. The errors are either “Critical” or “Warning”. You can view these errors and rectify them before proceeding with initiating the appraisal exercise. You can record comments, remarks or opinions, as well. Tell me more.
