Edit Position Hierarchy

Select the hyperlinked hierarchy short description from the ”Search Results” multiline of “Select Position Hierarchy to Edit” page, OR
Enter the hierarchy code in the “Select Position Hierarchy to Edit” page and select the “Set Hierarchy Values” link.

The “Edit Position Hierarchy” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format	The date format that is applicable to the login user.
Organization Structure Unit	The code identifying the organization structure unit.
Hierarchy Code	The code identifying the hierarchy.
Effective From Date	The date from which the position hierarchy is effective.

Language	The language you selected in the previous page is displayed. From the “Language” drop-down list box, you can select any other language, to retrieve the record in the selected language.
Hierarchy Short Description	The short description of the hierarchy.
Hierarchy Long Description	The detailed description of the hierarchy.
Apex Entity	Use the drop-down list box to specify the apex entity.
Place Under	Use the drop-down list box to specify the position under which the reporting positions are to be defined.

Entity Code	The code identifying the entity to be placed under “Placed Under”.
	Help facility available.

The system displays the following:

Entity Description

The description of the entity code.

Comments

Any comments related to the modification and deletion of the record.

Save in Language

The language you selected in the previous page is displayed.

From the “drop-down list box, you can select any other language, to translate the record to this language.

New Effective From

The date from which the position hierarchy is effective with the latest modifications.

To proceed, carry out the following
