Selecting an employee
Select “Record Nomination / Declaration Information” from left pane.
The “Select Employee to Record Nomination Information” page appears.
The system displays the following detail at the top right of the page.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. If the user does not define the date format, the system will display the date format applicable to the Organization unit, which is defined in the “Enterprise Model Company Definitions”. |
Select the following fields.
Government |
The organization unit in which employee code parameters are defined for the login organization unit. For example, the organization unit in which the Employee Code Setup Unit component deployed is “Government of AP”. The “Government of AP” value will be displayed in the drop-down list box. |
Nomination For |
Select an option for the “Nomination for” details like Andhra Pradesh Group Linked Insurance (APGLI), General Provident Fund (GPF), and Group Insurance Scheme (GIS) from the drop-down list box. Nominee details are to be entered for the “Nomination for” entry you have selected in the drop-down list box. |
To select an employee through Direct Entry
Use this method if you are certain about the employee code of the required employee.
Enter the “Employee Code” field.
Select the “Record Nomination / Declaration Information” hyperlink.
The “Record Nomination / Declaration Information” page appears.
To select an employee through Search Criteria
Use this method to identify an employee, if you do not possess the correct / complete employee code.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the employee code contains. Search based on wild card characters is also supported. To narrow your search to the closest matching records, you can also enter search criteria for other details such as, the name of the employee, the employee type to indicate if he/she is a regular or contract employee and the dates to indicate the probable period in which the employee joined.
Note: Specify the maximum fields in the Search Criteria box to retrieve precise records.
Enter values in any or all of the following fields.
Employee Code |
To view all the employee codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these employee codes. |
Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: ECC1*, will search for those employee codes that start with ECC1. Other examples are *ECC1 and EC*C1. | |
Employee Name |
Enter the name of the employee. To view the entire employee names containing specific characters type in the starting character or characters of these employee names. |
Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: To get Jonathan, type in JO*, to search for those employee names that start with JO. Other examples are *NATHAN, JO*AN, and JONATH*. | |
Date of Joining From |
Enter a value to indicate the probable date after which the employee joined. Example: If you enter 09/16/01, the system fetches the records of employees who joined after this date. |
Date of Joining To |
Enter a value to indicate the probable date before which the employee joined. Example: If you enter 11/11/01, the system fetches the records of employees who joined before this date. |
Note: If you enter both the “Date of Joining From” and “Date of Joining To” details, the system fetches the record from the records of employees who joined during this period.
Employee Type |
The type of the employee job. For example, Regular, Contract, Trainee, Consultant or Volunteer. From the drop-down list box, select the employee type. The system lists the employee type values, applicable to the selected Employee Code Setup Unit, in the drop-down list box. |
Status |
Select the status of the nomination / declaration from the drop-down list box. The statuses could be: § “Nomination / declaration done” § “Nomination/ declaration not done” |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
Note: If only one search
criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy
this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are
available for the selected employee code setup unit.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the employee records that satisfy the search criteria specified.
Nomination For |
Select an option for the “Nomination for” details like Andhra Pradesh Group Linked Insurance(APGLI), General Provident Fund (GPF), Group Insurance Scheme(GIS) from the drop-down list box. Nominee details are to be entered for the “Nomination for” entry you have selected in the drop-down list box. |
Employee Code |
The unique code of the employee. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Date of joining |
The date on which the employee joined the organization. |
Employee Type |
The type of the employee’s job, for example, Regular, Contract, Trainee, Consultant or Volunteer. |
Status |
Select an option for the status of the nomination declaration from the drop-down list box. The statuses can be: § “Nomination / declaration done” § “Nomination/ declaration undone” |
Select the check box for the employee row in the multiline and click the “Record Nomination / Declaration Information” page. Now you can record nominations details for the identified employee.

To select an employee through direct entry
To select through search criteria
