Select the “Record Reference Information” hyperlink beside the employee code field.
The system displays the “Record Reference Information” page.
To select through search criteria
Use the search facility to fetch the required record in the multiline.
Select the hyperlink on the name of the required employee.
The system displays the “Record Reference Information” page.
The system displays the following details.
Government |
The short description of the organization unit where the “Employee Code Setup Unit” component is deployed. |
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. More Details |
Employee |
The name and unique code of the employee. The system displays the value selected in the “Select Employee” page. |
Employee Type |
The type of the employee’s job. The employee type indicates whether the selected employee is a regular employee or has been hired on contract for a limited period or is a consultant. |
Recording reference information
You can use the “Reference Information” multiline to record the details and the feedback pertaining to the personal or professional references provided by the employee.
Enter the following reference details in the “Reference Information” multiline.
Note: By default, for a new reference information record, the fields and drop-down list boxes will be blank. For an existing record, the system displays the values specified previously.
Reference Type |
The reference type, either “Personal” or “Professional” which indicate whether the reference person is known to the employee either through his/her personal or professional life. From the drop-down list box, select the required options. The reference type specified must not be modified later. |
Referred By |
The name of the reference person. |
Organization |
The name of the organization in which the reference person is working. |
Position |
The name of the position he/she holds in the organization specified. |
Contact Information |
The contact address information, either the complete address or the phone/fax number, email of the reference person. |
Referred On |
The date on which the reference person has communicated his/her remarks about the employee |
Reference Remarks |
The remarks which the reference person has made about the employee. |
HR Remarks |
The remarks of the HR about the information given by the reference person about the employee. |
Reference Check Completed |
Indicates whether the information furnished by the employee has been checked with the person specified as a reference. From the drop-down list box, select “Yes” or “No”. Selecting “Yes” indicates that the reference check is completed, “No” indicates otherwise. |
Enter the following details in the “Legal History” group box below the multiline.
Convicted for Felony |
From the drop-down list box, select “Yes” or “No” to indicate whether the employee has been convicted for any crime committed. Select “Yes” to indicate the employee has been convicted for felony and “No” to indicate otherwise. By default, the value will be “No”. |
If yes, please provide details |
If the option selected in the “Convicted for Felony” drop-down list box is “Yes”, specify the details of the conviction in the free text field. |
Select the “Save Reference Information” pushbutton to save the details entered.
