Through this activity, you can create and define a Department hierarchy for an organization. Department hierarchy refers to the “Reporting to” relationship between different process in an organization. You can specify the department in which you want to place a department.
To create department hierarchy specify,
The unique code of the hierarchy in which you want to place the department.
The short description of the department hierarchy. Alternatively, you can specify a long desription to make the description more clear.
The apex process in the department hierarchy.
The date from which the department hierarchy is to take effect.
Also, you can indicate whether the hierarchy is primary or otherwise.
Following selection of the required hierarchy, you can place the department at the required place in the hierarchy.
