Recording New Department - Position

This page is applicable only if the administrator has selected the planning dimension as “Position”.

The “New Department or Position” page appears.

Department Description

A description of the department. Note that this description must exist in the Department Master.

Position Title

A description of the new position title. Note that this description must exist in the Position Master.

Note: The department-position combination must be unique and must not exist in the Manpower planning.

Upon clicking the Save pushbutton, the system saves the details and transfers the data to the “Manpower Planning” page.

Upon clicking the “Cancel” pushbutton, the system refreshes the screen and takes the user back to the “Manpower Planning” page.
