Date Format

The date format applicable to the login user.

Leave Definition Unit

From the “Leave Definition Unit” drop-down list box, select the organization unit

for which you require to maintain leave reasons.

Leave Type

From the drop-down list box, select the leave type.

To map leave reason to the leave type

Reason Description

From the drop-down list box, select the description of the leave reason.

Default

From the drop-down list box, select any one of the following options

  • “Yes” to indicate that the selected reason must be considered as the default reason for the specific leave type.

  • “No” to indicate that the selected reason must not be considered as the default reason for the specific leave type.

Inactive

From the drop-down list box, select any one of the following options

  • “Yes” to indicate that the selected reason is deactivated for the time being.

  • “No” to indicate that the selected reason is activated.

Note that the default leave reason cannot be set to inactive status

Note: The parameters defined in this activity will be used only if you set the "Display leave Reasons Irrespective of Leave Type – Reason Mapping" status to "Yes" in the  "Set Leave Parameters" activity.

The system displays the leave reasons in the multiline.
