Maintain Leave Reason – A summary of the activity

An employee can avail leave only for specific reasons. Through this activity, you can maintain the leave reasons for a specific leave type. Maintaining the leave reason involves the following
Mapping the leave reasons defined in the quick codes to a specific leave type
Unmapping the leave reasons that are already mapped to the leave type
Setting the default leave reason for the leave type
Activating or Deactivating the mapping of the leave reasons to the leave type
Note that the default leave reason cannot be set to inactive status.
Note: The parameters defined in this activity will be used only if you set the "Display leave Reasons Irrespective of Leave Type – Reason Mapping" status to "Yes" in the "Set Leave Parameters" activity.
