Through this activity, you can authorize/reject a hire request.
You are to retrieve a hire request that you want to authorize/reject. RFHs are created for a position, grade set and grade, for a department in an employment unit.
When hire requests are authorized, the system resets the status from "Pending Authorization" to "Authorized". If a RFH is rejected, the status is set to "Rejected". After authorization, suitable resumes are attached to RFH and the recruitment process commences.
The system automatically authorizes RFHs pertaining to grades 3 and 4. However, RFHs submitted for grades 1 and 2 require authorization from the concerned official, for example, senior discipline leader.
You can edit the following information of a hire request before authorization:
The date on or before which the vacant post must be filled
The number of vacancies
The employee type, grade set and grade of the vacant post
The overtime attribute of the job, hours of work for a specific period and, working days per week,
The description and prerequisites of the vacant post and, the reason for vacancy
The employee who is to be substituted with a new employee as he/she is proceeding on leave.
