Edit Hire Request - A summary of the activity
Through this activity, you, as a supervisor, can edit the information on a hire request and the percentage of vacancies allocated to each employment category, such as ex-service personnel, handicapped category etc. You are to retrieve a hire request that you want to edit, either by entering the number of the hire request or performing a search using the search criteria.
Editing the hire request and vacancy information: You can edit the following details for a hire request:
The work location
The reason for which the hire request is being made
The date by which human resource requirement is to be addressed
The type of employment
The number of resources to be recruited.
You can edit the following details for a job:
The number of working hours that the job involves regularly
The number of years of experience required for the job
The number of years of relevant experience required for the job
The description of the work experience
The medical check requirements, if required.
Indicate the following for a job:
Whether the job entails receiving tips from customers
Whether the job involves travellng
Whether the job is a full time or a part time
The industry type or sector to which the organization belongs.
In addition, you can specify a different recruiter to process the hire request, modify the job description, as it must appear in the job postings and any other requirements that were specified as necessary for the specific job.
Editing the qualification and competency information: The information with regard to the qualifications and competencies required for the job facilitate in identifying the right individuals among the applicants. You can edit the following details pertaining to qualification:
The qualification code
The qualification description
In addition, you can modify the codes and descriptions of two additional or alternative qualifications, if specified. For example, if the request for hire pertains to the post of Manager HR, the primary qualification can be MBA while the alternate qualification may be specified as a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management.

The competency code
The competency description
The minimum extent to which the competency must be present in the individual being hired for the job.
Editing the vacancy allocation information: This information indicates the percentage of vacancies to be allocated to each category like ex-service personnel, handicapped category etc. You can modify the allocated percentage to a specific employment category. Based on the percentage specified for each category, the system computes and displays the exact number of vacancies for each category.
