Posting a resume
Select the “Post Resume” link from left pane.
The “Post Resume” page appears.
OR
Select the “Post Resume against Vacancy” link from left pane.
The “Select Vacancy to Post Resume” page appears.
Choose the vacancy for which you want to post the resume and select the “Post New Resume” link at the bottom of the page.
The “Post Resume” page appears.
The system displays the following on the top right of the page.
Date |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Ø Specify the following in the “User Information” group box.
Resume ID |
A unique ID, which you can use later to access your resume to view the status or make necessary changes. You can create a resume ID with your name or adding easy to remember prefixes or suffixes to your first name etc. For example, an applicant with the name Emmanuel can create the resume ID as Manny, MannyJ or Manny_Resume etc. The resume ID must be 6 to 26 characters in length. |
Password |
A unique password with which you can restrict and personalize access to the resume. You can set the password of your choice. The password must be 6 to 26 characters in length. |
Confirm Password |
Retype the password in the exact manner for the system to confirm. |
Applicant ID |
A unique ID that the system generates for every new resume that is posted. The applicant ID is 26 characters in length. |
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the ID and password details.
Specify the following in the “Personal Information” group box.
Title |
From the drop-down list box, select the appropriate title for your name, such as Mr., Mrs., Dr., or Ms. Enter your first name in the text box beside. |

Your first name. For example, if your full name is Jennifer Ann Campbell, the first name is Jennifer. |
Middle Name |
Your middle name. For example, if your full name is Jennifer Ann Campbell, the middle name is Ann. |
Last Name |
Your last name. For example, if your full name is Jennifer Ann Campbell, the last name is Campbell. |
Date of Birth |
Your date of birth. Select the month and day from the respective drop-down list boxes and enter the year of birth in the text box beside. |
Country of Birth |
The name of the country in which you were born. From the drop-down list box, select the name of the required country. |
Marital Status |
Your marital status. The system lists the following options in the drop-down list box: “Married”, “Single”, “Not Applicable”. Select the required option. |
Identity Card No./ Official Ref. |
The drop-down list box displays the colors “Pink” and “Blue”. “Pink” refers to Identity card number and “Blue” refers to Official reference. Select the required option and enter the identity or reference number in the text box beside. |
Date of Issue |
The date on which the identity card or official reference was issued. Enter the appropriate date. |
Country of Issue |
The name of the country where the identity card or official reference was issued. From the drop-down list box, select the name of the required country. |
Race |
Your racial identity, for example, Asian, Caucasian, African. From the drop-down list box, select the required option. |
Religion |
Your religion, for example, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist. From the drop-down list box, select the required option. |
Gender |
Your gender, whether male or female. From the drop-down list box, select the required option. |
Nationality |
Your nationality, for example, Indian, American, Japanese. From the drop-down list box, select the required option. |
To enter Identification Information
Specify the following in the “Identification Information” multiline.
Identification Type |
From the drop-down list box, select the identification type, such as “Passport”, “Driving License”. |
Document No. |
The number of the identification document that you chose. |
Date Of Issue |
The date on which the document was issued. |
Place Of Issue |
The place where the document was issued. |
Specify the following in the “Contact Information” multiline.
Address Type |
From the drop-down list box, select whether the address type is “Official” or “Residential”. |
Address |
The first line of your mailing address. |
Address Line 2 |
The second line of your mailing address. |
Address Line 3 |
The third line of your mailing address. |
Country |
The name of the country pertaining to your mailing address. From the drop-down list box, select the required country name. |
State |
The name of the state to which you belong in the country specified. From the drop-down list box, select the required state name. |
Local Type1 |
The local type 1 name, for example, County, District. |
City / Town |
The name of the town or city. |
Local Type3 |
The local type 3 name, for example, Council, School District. |
Postal Code |
The postal index code applicable to your mailing address. |
Phone |
Your telephone number. |
Fax |
Your fax number. |
Pager |
Your pager number. |
Mobile |
Your mobile phone number. |

Specify the following in the “Educational Records” multiline.
Qualification |
Your qualification, for example, BE, MCA, MBA, etc. From the drop-down list box, select the required value. |
Specialization |
Your specialization in the qualification. For example, if the qualification specified is MBA, the specialization could be HR, Marketing, or Finance. |
Institution |
The name of the institution in which you studied and completed the specified course. |
From |
The date when the specified course commenced. |
To |
The date when the specified course was completed. |
Month Of Passing |
The month in which you completed the specified qualification. From the drop-down list box, select the required value. |
Year Of Passing |
The year in which you completed the specified qualification. |
Score |
The marks you scored in the subjects. |
Maximum Score |
The maximum marks, against which you scored the actual marks. |
Remarks |
The comments pertaining to the qualification details, if any. |
Specify the following in the “Expected Salary” group box.
Expected Gross Salary (annual) |
The gross salary that you expect the organization to pay you every year. |
Notice Period Required by Present Employer |
The minimum time that your present employer requires to relieve you from the services of the organization. Enter the numeric value in the text box and choose a value from the drop-down list beside it. The drop-down list displays “Days”, “Weeks”, and “Months”. |
Earliest Date Available, If Appointed |
The earliest date when you can join duty, if appointed. |
Answer the questions in the “Declaration” group box by selecting either “Yes” or “No” from the drop-down list.
If you answer “Yes”, enter the details in the text box beside. If information to be entered exceeds the space in the text box, do the following:
Select the book icon besides the text box. The system displays a dialog box.
Enter the details in the dialog box.
Select the “OK” pushbutton to save the details and return to the previous page.
Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page without saving the details entered.
The system displays a text message at the bottom to ascertain that the information you have provided is true. It also communicates your liability to appropriate legal proceeding, if the information is not true. So, precision in the resume is advised before submission.
Select the “Draft Resume” pushbutton to save the existing details without submitting if for processing.
On selecting the “Draft Resume” pushbutton, the system saves the details entered on the page temporarily, and flags it as draft. This draft resume cannot be shortlisted for any vacancies since it is not saved as a permanent / short / complete resume.
Note: You can access your resume and make necessary changes to your draft and submit it for processing.
Select the “Apply Short Resume” pushbutton to submit your resume for processing.
On submitting a resume, the system generates a unique applicant ID for the particular resume.
