Resume - An Overview
Resume is an important document, which gives information about an applicant's personal and career profile. An external applicant may wish to post his/ her resume in general or against a particular vacancy that exists in the organization.
The "Resume" component enables you to post your resume as ‘General’ and also ‘against Vacancy’. You can view the details of an existing vacancy for a job before you post your resume. In addition, you have an option to save your resume as ‘Draft’ and then submit it at a later point of time, in order to make it available for further transaction.
To ensure restricted access to your resume, you can set a password that you can change whenever required. Use the resume ID and password to edit an existing resume.
All the scenarios given below are addressed in the component:
An applicant can create a resume and post against a vacancy. If a resume was not posted earlier, then applicant can select a vacancy and post new resume.
An applicant can post resume against any number of vacancies using the same resume ID and password used in posting a resume.
An applicant can post resume against a vacancy after editing. If the applicant has posted the resume, which requires editing to suit the job requirements, then he can edit the resume. For example, you may want to edit the resume to add a new qualification acquired recently, which might add value to the resume.
