Setting Hire Process Parameters - A summary of the activity

Hire process parameters help to govern the process of hiring. These parameters vary from organization to organization as they are linked to the business practices of the organization.
The Set Hire Process Parameters activity allows you to set parameter values that are best suited for your organization. You can also access the “Help on Parameter” to set values for the parameters.
Through this activity, you can set the following parameters:
Authorize Request for Hiring-Required. This parameter gives the flexibility of choosing whether authorization of RFH is required or not.
Authorize Employee Request – Required. This parameter gives the flexibility of choosing whether 'Employee Request' must require authorization from the reporting supervisor.
Display Application Status to Employee. This parameter is used to specify whether status of the 'Employee Request' submitted towards internal selection can be displayed.
Screening Resume by Recruiter/Requestor. This parameter is used to specify whether the screening of resumes must be done by both recruiter and requestor or exclusively by recruiter or requestor.
Selecting Applicant for Next Exercise. This parameter is used to specify whether the applicant selection for next exercise must be done by both recruiter and assessor or exclusively by recruiter or assessor.
Authorization of Applicant Selection – Required. This parameter gives the flexibility of choosing whether the authorization of selected applicant is required or not.
Approval of Applicant Selection – Required. This parameter gives the flexibility of choosing whether the requestor’s acceptance on selection is required or not.
Salary Fitment – Authorization. This parameter gives the flexibility of choosing whether authorization of the salary fitment is required or not.
Maximum Evaluation Level. This parameter is used to set the maximum score on which applicant will be evaluated.
Through this activity, you can also set values for the grades, to facilitate rate to grade conversion for business transactions. Thus, applicant’s evaluation can be made using either grade system or rate system.
