A blank multiline appears, containing the following fields: “Grade”, “Lower Limit” and “Upper Limit”.
Enter the following fields in the multiline.
Grade |
Select the grade, from the drop-down list box. The grades are user-defined. The different grades are listed using the quick code component. Examples: outstanding, very good, fair and poor. |
Lower Limit |
Specify the lower limit value for the grade. |
Upper Limit |
Specify the upper limit value for the grade. The value in the upper limit must be higher than the lower limit value. Otherwise, the system will display an error message. |
|
You must not overlap ranges, when you set values for the grade. There must be a difference of minimum one digit, between the upper limit of the previous grade and lower limit of the succeeding grade. Example: Consider an organization with the grading system - outstanding, very good, good, fair and poor. The equivalent value for these grades will be between 81 and 100, for outstanding, between 61 and 80, for very good, between 41 and 60, for good, between 21 and 40, for fair and between 1 and 20, for poor. |
Note: Both the upper limit and lower limit must be less than the maximum evaluation level. You have to specify both the upper limit and lower limit for a grade, else the system throws an error message.
Select the “Save Rate Grade Conversion” pushbutton to save the specified values.
