The  “Select Employee to Record Grievance” page appears.

Grievance Admin Unit

From the drop-down list box, select the grievance administration unit.

To select through Direct Entry

Use this method only for new grievance.

Employee Code

To retrieve the records of the employee, enter the employee code of the employee

Assignment Number

To retrieve the records of the employee, enter the assignment number of the employee

To select through Search Criteria

 In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.

Employment Unit

From the drop-down list, select the employment unit of the employee. This refers to the organization unit that holds the Employment Information component.

Employee Code

To retrieve the records of all employees whose employee codes contain specific characters, type in the character(s) in any combination with wild cards.

Example. ECC1*, will search for those employee codes that start with ECC1. Other examples are *ECC1 and EC*C1.

Employee Name

To retrieve the records of all employees whose employee names contain specific characters, type in the character(s) of these employee names in any combination with wild cards.

Example, Rob*, will search for those employee names that start with Rob. Other examples are *Rob and R*b*.

Assignment No.

To retrieve all grievance records with a specific assignment number, type in the assignment number. Alternatively, type in the digit(s) in any combination with wild cards..

Department Short Description

To retrieve the records of all the employees belonging to a specific department, type in the character(s) of this department in any combination with wild cards.

Position Title

 To retrieve the records of all the employees holding a specific position title, type in the character(s) of this position title in any combination with wild cards.

Job Title

To retrieve the records of all the employees holding a specific job title, type in the character(s) of this job title in any combination with wild cards.

Grievance No.

To retrieve a particular grievance record with a specific grievance number, enter the grievance number. Alternatively, type in the digit(s) in any combination with wild cards.

Grievance Type

To retrieve the records of all the employees holding a specific grievance, type in the character(s) of this grievance type in any combination with wild cards.

For example the type of Grievance could be Union/Employee.

Current Status

From the drop-down list box, select any one of the following  current status

  •  “New”. This indicates that it is a new grievance.

  • “Submitted”. This indicates that the grievance has been submitted.

  • “Responded”.  This indicates that the grievance has been responded

  • “Resolved”. This indicates that the grievance has been resolved.

The records of the particular status are fetched.

The multiline displays the following details of the employees that satisfy your search criteria

Employment Unit

The employment unit to which the employee belongs

Employee Code

The employee code of the employee

Employee Name

The name of the employee

Assignment No.

The assignment number of the employee.

Department

The department name of the employee.

Job Title

The job title of the employee.

Position Title

The position title of the employee.

Grievance No.

The unique number of the grievance.

Grievance Type

From the drop-down list, select the type of grievance. For example, it could be Union/Employee/Administration etc;

Current Status

From the drop-down list, select the current status of the grievance. It could be one of the following:

  •  “New”. This indicates that it is a new grievance.

  • “Submitted”. This indicates that the grievance has been submitted.

  •  “Responded”.  This indicates that the grievance has been responded

  • “Resolved”. This indicates that the grievance has been resolved.
