The “Record Response Details” page appears

The system displays the following from the previous page

Grievance Administration Unit

The administration unit of the grievance.

Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user.

Employment Unit

The employment unit to which the employee belongs

Employee

The employee code and name of the employee

Assignment No.

The assignment number of the employee.

Grievance No.

The unique number of the grievance

Grievance Type

The type of the grievance selected in the previous page

For example the type of Grievance could be Union/Employee.

Submission Date

The date of submission of the grievance

Grievance Logged By

The employee name of the person who logged the grievance

Current Status

The status of the grievance could be any one of the following:

  •  “Submitted”. This indicates that the grievance has been submitted

  • “Responded”. This indicates that the grievance has been responded

  • “Resolved”. This indicates that the grievance has been resolved

The grievance of the employee

View Attachment

The document attached while recording the grievance can be viewed.

To record the response to the grievance

The system displays the following in the multiline

Employment Unit

The employment unit of the employee selected from the previous page.

Employee Code

The employee code of the employee selected from the previous page.

Employee Name

The name of the employee selected from the previous page.

Response

Enter the response for the grievance, as free text.

Responded On

Enter the date on which the response is recorded.

Attach Document

The response document to be attached. Click the icon beside the field to browse and select the file you want to attach.

The current status of the grievance changes to “responded” when any one employee to whom the grievance has been forwarded responds to the grievance. When you submit the response details for the grievance, the system sends an e-mail to the grievance administrator, the employees who responded to the grievance, and to the employee who logged the grievance.
