Recording perceived cost details
Select the “Record Perceived Cost Details” hyperlink to record the perceived cost details if you have chosen “Direct entry” mode, or
Select the hyperlinked grievance number in the multiline, if you have chosen “Search criteria” mode of entry.
The “Record Perceived Cost Details” page appears.
The system displays the following from the previous page
Grievance Administration Unit |
The administration unit of the grievance. |
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Employment Unit |
The employment unit to which the employee belongs |
Employee |
The name of the employee who wants to record the grievance |
Assignment No. |
The assignment number of the employee. |
Grievance No. |
The unique number of the grievance. |
Grievance Type |
The type of the grievance. For example the type of Grievance could be Union/Employee. |
Grievance Logged By |
The name of the employee who logged the grievance. |
File Id |
The unique file ID of the grievance, if a suit was filed. |
Grievance |
The grievance of the employee. |
Enter the following in the multiline, to record cost details
Legal Fee |
The fee charged for the legal proceedings. |
Settlement Fee |
The settlement fee charged for resolving the grievance |
Other Fee1 |
Any other fees charged for resolving the problem |
Other Fee2 |
Any other fees charged for resolving the problem |
Other Fee3 |
Any other fees charged for resolving the problem |
The system displays the following, below the multiline
Total Cost |
The system displays the total cost, which is the sum of the fees entered in the “Cost Details” group box. |

Attach Document |
The details / documents related to cost occurred while addressing the Grievance can be attached. Click the icon beside the field to browse and select the file you want to attach. |
Select the “Save“ pushbutton, to save the perceived cost details.
Select the “Delete“ pushbutton, to delete the perceived cost details.
