Select “Edit Union” from the left pane.
The “Select Union” page appears.
To select a union, enter the following fields:
HR General Information Unit |
The organization unit in which the HR General Information component is deployed. Tell me more |
Language |
The system displays the language in which the login user logged in. This refers to the language you selected in the login screen, to access this activity. From the drop-down list box, select the language in which you require to edit the details. |
Select the union record, either through the “Direct Entry” group box or through the “Search Criteria” group box.
Use this method if you know the complete code of the required union.
Enter the complete code of the union in the “Union Code” field.
Select the “Edit Union” hyperlink beside.
The “Edit Union” page appears. All details of the selected record are displayed.
To edit union, refer to the topic “Editing a Union”.
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the union code or nothing at all. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the union code contains. Search based on wild card characters is also supported. To narrow your search to the closest matching records, you can also enter search criteria for the name of the union. In case you do not know anything, just click on search without entering any fields. The entire set of records will be fetched.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Union Code |
To view all union codes containing specific characters, type in a starting range of these characters along with the wild card character *. Example: If you type in UNN*, the system will display all the state records having the prefix UNN. |
Union Name |
To view all union names containing specific characters, type in a range of these characters along with the wild card character "*". Examples: *union, *employees union etc. |
Membership Name |
To view all membership names containing specific characters, type in a starting range of these characters along with the wild card character *. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
Note:
If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the
records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system
will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group
box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the
records that are available for the selected HR General Information unit.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the union records that satisfy the search criteria specified.
Union Code |
The unique code of the union. |
Union Name |
The name of the union |
Membership Name |
The name of the membership in the union |
Inactive |
The active or inactive status of the union details. “Active” indicates that the union details are available for use in other activities and “Inactive” indicates otherwise. |
Select the hyperlink on the name of the required union record in the multiline.
The system displays the “Edit Union” page, which you can use to edit the details.
Use this page to select the union record which you want to edit.
