Selecting employee to view employee information
Use this page to select an employee for viewing the details of the employee.
Select “View employment information” from the left pane.
The “Select employee to view employment information” page appears.
The system displays the following fields at the top of the page.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
To select through Search Criteria
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the employee code. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you can enter one or more characters that the employee code contains. Optionally, you can enter the employee name, employee type and the date of joining to narrow your search. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.
Enter the following search criteria values in some or all of the following fields.
Employment Unit |
The employment unit applicable to the login user. Select the required value from the drop-down list box. |
Employee Code |
To view a particular employee code, type in the code of the employee. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: ECC1*, will search for those employee codes that start with ECC1. Other examples are *ECC1 and EC*C1. |
Employee Name |
To view all the employee names containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these employee names in any combination with wild cards. Example: To get Jonathan, type in JO*, to search for those employee names that start with JO. Other examples are *NATHAN, JO*AN, and JONATH*. |
Employee Type |
Select the type of employee, whether regular, trainee or contractual, from the drop-down list box. |
Position Title |
To view all the position titles containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these position titles in any combination with wild cards. |
Department |
To view all the department names containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these department names in any combination with wild cards. Example: Type in SYS*, to search for those department names that start with SYS. |
Job Title |
To view all the job titles containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these job titles in any combination with wild cards |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
Note: To perform an effective search, enter maximum number of fields in the search criteria.
The system displays the results of the search in the following multiline.
Employee Code |
The unique code of the employee. |
Employee Name |
The name of the selected employee. |
Employee Type |
The type of employee. |
Job Title |
The job title of the employee. |
Position Title |
The position title of the employee. |
Department |
The department to which the employee belongs. |
Select the data hyperlink in the multiline to move to the “View personal information” page.
To proceed, do the following:
Select the "View Assignment Information" link at the bottom of the page to view the employee assignment information.
Select the "View Non Regular Employee Information" link at the bottom of the page to view non-regular assignment information of the employee.
