The system displays the following from the previous page

Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user. Tell me more

Supervisor

The employee code of the logged on supervisor.

Employment Unit

The employment unit to which the employee belongs.

Employee

The name of the employee.

Assignment No.

The assignment number of the employee.

Department

The department name of the employee

Position Title

The position title of the employee

Job Title

The job title of the employee.

To record disciplinary action

Disciplinary Action Type

The type of user defined disciplinary action. For example, “Behavioral”/”Criminal”.

Disciplinary Action Status

The status of the disciplinary action can be one of the following: “Open”, “Closed” or any other user defined status.

Submission Date

The date on which the disciplinary action was submitted.

Reason

The reason for taking disciplinary action. For example, theft/absenteeism etc.

Action Details

The details of the disciplinary action to be taken.

For example, the action taken can be suspension of the employee for a period of  1 month.

To record the activity details of persons responsible

Employment Unit

The employment unit of the employee against whom disciplinary action is taken.

Employee Code

The employee code of the employee against whom disciplinary action is initiated

Help Available

Employee Name

If the employee code is retrieved through Help, the name of the employee is displayed.

Scheduled Date

The date by which the disciplinary action activity must be completed, by the responsible employee.

Enter the date in the “YYYY-MM-DD” format.

Remarks

Any remark about the disciplinary action to be taken.

The system displays the following in the header

Disciplinary Action No.

The unique disciplinary action number generated by the system, when the disciplinary action record is submitted.

It is in the format “DS/XXXXX/YYYY”. “XXXXX” is the running Serial Number for the disciplinary action during the current year, and “YYYY” is the Year in which the disciplinary action is recorded.

Disciplinary Action Status

The status of completion of the disciplinary action can  “Open” or any other user defined status.

  • “Open” indicates that the disciplinary action is open for recording further activities.

 The system displays the following in the multiline

Status

The status of completion of the disciplinary action activity, by each responsible employee. It can be one of the following: “Pending”, or “Completed”.

§    “Pending” implies that the disciplinary action activity is still pending.

§     “Completed” implies that the disciplinary action activity is completed

After you save the information, the system will send an e-mail to the responsible employees.
