Disciplinary Action Self Service – An overview
The Disciplinary Action component tracks the disciplinary action taken by the supervisor, in response to misconduct by the employees.
You can select the employee against whom disciplinary action is to be initiated and identify the disciplinary action by specifying the basic details about it. You can also record the disciplinary action to be taken against the employee. The scheduled date within which each responsible employee must take action is tracked. A disciplinary action number is generated by the system.
You can view the details pertaining to the disciplinary action, before or after it is closed.
Recording the disciplinary action: You can initiate disciplinary action against an erring employee, through this activity. You can record the action plans and the remarks pertaining to the disciplinary action, on behalf of every responsible employee. The disciplinary action number is generated by the system, through this activity.
Recording the disciplinary action activity details: This activity enables you to record your activities for a specific disciplinary action. You can record the following details about the disciplinary action:
The Activity type of the disciplinary action in which you would like to record your actions.
The Activity description of the actual activity performed.
The date of completion of the disciplinary action activity
Any remarks pertaining to the disciplinary action activity
View disciplinary action: You can view the following disciplinary action details:
The status of the disciplinary action
The type of the disciplinary action
The date of submission
The name of the employee who initiated the disciplinary action
Reason for taking the disciplinary action
The details of the activity
Note : Disciplinary actions whose status is “Closed” can also be viewed.
