Initiating the appraisal process
Select the “Initiate Appraisal Process” link on the left pane.
The “Initiate Appraisal Process” page appears.
Enter the following filters
Appraisal Processing Unit |
From the “Appraisal Processing Unit” drop-down list box, select the organization unit for which you require to initiate the appraisal process. Tell me more. |
Employment Unit |
The employment unit for which you require the readiness check to be carried out. This refers to the organization unit that holds the Employment information component |
Appraisal Type |
From the drop-down list box, select the type of appraisal for which you require to initiate the appraisal process. It can be one of the following:

Appraisal Calendar Code |
The code of the appraisal calendar for which employees are to be retrieved. Help available. |
The system displays the following, if you select the appraisal calendar using Help.

The start date of the appraisal calendar |

The end date of the appraisal calendar |
Enter the following
Message |
The text of the message to be contained in the email notification to the participants of the appraisal process. To view/record the message in a large area, select the icon to the right. In the dialog box that appears, record/view the details and select the “OK” pushbutton. |
Select the “Submit” pushbutton.
The emails will be sent to the appraisees/employees, appraisers, countersigning officers and HR users satisfying the filters you had specified. Emails will be sent to appraisees/appraisers based on the parameters defined.
