Initiate Appraisal Process– A summary of the activity

Through this activity, the administrator can initiate the appraisal exercise for all the employees under an appraisal calendar, for a specific appraisal type. Initiating implies that you request the system to automatically send email notifications to all the participants of the appraisal exercise. The participants consist of the appraises/employees, appraisers, countersigning officers and HR users. The administrator will specify the message in the email, which will essentially comprise the steps to carry out the appraisal.

Retrieving the batch of records: To retrieve the employee records for which the appraisal exercise is to be initiated, you are to specify the following combination of filters at the outset

• The organization unit

• The employment unit

• The type of appraisal

• The appraisal calendar
