Specify the weightage of the objective, in comparison with the other objectives for the same appraiser
Indicate the approval status of each objective. The status can be one of the following: “Approved“, “Not Defined“, “Pending“ or “All“
Approving individually or in bulk: The authorizer can visit the “Record Employee Appraisal Objectives” page any number of times, and change the status of each objective from “Pending” to “Approved”.
Alternatively, the authorizer can set the status of all the appraiser’s objectives to “Approved”, in bulk, through a single keystroke. Bulk approval of objectives is carried out through the “Record Employee Appraisal Objectives” page.
Computing objective weightage in percentage: The weightage specified for the appraiser’s objectives can be displayed in percentage. For example, there are three objective codes in the multiline, A1, A2 and A3. Assume you had entered the following weightages for each objective, in the “Objective Weightage” field: 20 for A1, 40 for A2 and 10 for A3. The system therefore takes the total as 70, and computes each objective’s weightage in percentage as follows: A1 = 28.5 %, A2= 57% and A3=14.5%.
Assigning objectives from the evaluation template: In the “Select Employee to Record Objectives” page, you can request the system to assign all the objectives in the employees’ evaluation templates to the employee’s appraisers.
This is a bulk activity, through which you succeed in setting the objectives of multiple employee’s appraisers. The objectives in the employee’s template will be automatically assigned to all the appraisers who were mapped to the employee through the “Record Employee Appraisal Mapping” activity.
Note: The weightage of each objective inherited by the appraiser from the evaluation template will be the same as the weightage specified in the template. This objective weightage can be changed later for the appraiser, if required.

Rules for choosing an evaluation template
4 It must be an evaluation template for which the auto-objective mapping flag is not set.
4 It must be an evaluation template that is mapped to a group to which the employee belongs. For example, if the template had been mapped to department D1 in the “Appraisal Template Mapping” activity, and the employee belongs to this department, you can choose this evaluation template.
This activity will be applicable for all the employees under a specific appraisal type, appraisal calendar and evaluation template.
Appraisers and templates applicable for an “appraisal type” and “appraisal calendar”
When you select the “Get Details” pushbutton after selecting an “appraisal type” and “appraisal calendar”, the system will list the following, in the “Appraiser” and “Template Short Description” drop-down list boxes below:
The “Appraiser” drop-down list box will list all the appraisers mapped to the employee for the specific period of the selected calendar and for the selected appraisal type. The appraisers are mapped to the employee through the “Define Appraisers” activity, where the period of the selected calendar and the appraisal type are specified.
The “Template” drop-down list box will list all the templates mapped to the selected calendar and the selected appraisal type. The mapping of templates must have been carried out through the “Appraisal Template Mapping” activity of the Appraisal Setup component.
