Selecting schedule / layout for viewing

This page allows you to search and select a schedule or layout for viewing its details. You carry out search based on the category under which the schedule or layout is classified, the type of finance book and the finance book in which the schedule or layout details are available. You can also search based on the status and the description of the schedule or the layout. The system retrieves the schedule / layout details based on the search criteria entered. This page also provides you the facility to select whether you want to view a default layout for the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and the financial ratios.

Select the “View Schedule / Layout” link under the “Financial Statement Layout” business component.

The “Select Schedule / Layout” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the schedule / layout for which you want to view the details.

Schedule / Layout	Use the drop-down list box to select whether you want to view the details of a schedule or a layout.
	Schedule – indicates that you want to retrieve the details of the schedules available in the selected finance book.
	Layout – indicates that you want to retrieve the details of the layouts available in the selected finance book.
	The system displays “Schedule” by default on launch of the page.
Description	A textual description of the schedule or layout that you want to view (Alphanumeric, 100). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the schedule or layout numbers that have descriptions similar to the value entered here.
Classification	Use the drop-down list box to select the category under which the schedule or layout has been classified from “Balance Sheet”, “Income Statement” or “Cash Flow Statement”. The system displays “Income Statement” by default on launch of the page.
Chart of Accounts ID	Use drop-down list box to select the code identifying the operative chart of accounts of the selected finance book. All the operative chart of accounts for the type of finance book selected will be available for selection in the ascending order.

Note: If “Main” finance book or tax book has been selected in the “Book Type” field all the chart of accounts ID that are of the type “Industry specific”, “Country specific” and “Operative Chart of account” will be available for selection.

If “Posting” finance book or tax book has been selected in the “Book Type” field all the chart of accounts ID that are of the type “Operative chart of account” will be available for selection.

If “Consolidation” finance book has been selected in the “Book Type” field all the “Active” consolidation chart of accounts ID will be available for selection

The system displays the following:

The type of chart of accounts to which the selected chart of account ID belongs.

Enter the following fields:

Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the schedule or layout for which you want to view the details. You can select from “Active” or “Inactive”.
	Active – indicates that you want to retrieve schedules / layouts that are in use.
	Inactive – indicates that you want to retrieve schedules / layouts that are no longer in use.
	The system displays “Active” by default on launch of the page.
Book Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the type of book that contains the schedule or layouts for which you want to view details. All the types of finance books that have been deployed in the login organizational unit will be available for selection. You can select from “Posting finance book”, “Posting tax book”, “Main finance book”, “Main tax book”, or “Consolidation finance book”.
Finance Book	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the finance book in which the details of the schedule or layouts are available. All the “Active” finance books that have been deployed in the login organization unit will be available for selection in the ascending order.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Schedule / Layout No	The number identifying the schedule or layout for which you want to view details.
Description	A textual description of the schedule or the layout.
Book Type	The type of the selected finance book.
Finance Book	The code identifying the finance book in which the schedule / layout details are available.
Status	The status of the schedule or layout. It could be “Active” or “Inactive”.
	Active – indicates that the schedules / layouts are still in use.
	Inactive – indicates that the schedules / layouts are no longer in use.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark an account code or schedule number for viewing its details.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “View Schedule” link at the bottom of the page to view the details of the selected schedule.
Select the “View Layout” link at the bottom of the page to view the details of the selected layout.
Select the “View Default Balance Sheet” link at the bottom of the page to view the default balance sheet.
Select the “View Default Income Statement” link at the bottom of the page to view the default income statement.
Select the “View Default Cash Flow Statement” link at the bottom of the page to view the default cash flow statement.
Select the “View Default Financial Ratios” link at the bottom of the page to view the default financial ratios.
