Managing open transactions
Select the “Manage Open Transactions” to modify the date of documents.
Select any of the radio buttons:
Manage |
Select this radio button if you wish to modify the date of the documents. |
View |
Select this radio button to view the documents for which date has been modified. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” section:
Note: The “Search By” combo appears only if the “View” radio button is selected.
Company Code/FB |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the company and the finance book to which the document belongs that is to be retrieved. By default the system displays the company code of the login OU. |

In the adjacent drop-down list box, enter the value corresponding to the Company Code or Finance Book selected. |
Financial Year |
Use the drop-down list box to select the financial year to which the documents you wish to retrieve belongs. |
Financial period |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the financial period to which the document you wish to retrieve belongs. All the financial periods that are in the “Open” status before the current financial period will be available for selection in the chronological order based on the selected financial year. By default the system displays 'Last Open Period' (Minimum Open Period). |
Business Process |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the business process to which the document you wish to retrieve belongs. By default the system displays the “Payables Management” in this field. |
Business Function Group |
Use the drop-down list box to select the business function group to which the documents you wish to retrieve belongs By default the system displays “All” in this field. |
Business Function |
Use the drop-down list box to select the Business Function to which the document you wish to retrieve belongs. By default the system displays “All” in this field. |
Doc. Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the document that you wish to retrieve in the multiline. By default the system displays “All” in this field. |
Doc. # From |
The starting document in the range of documents for which you wish to modify the date. |
To |
The ending document in the range documents for which you wish to modify the date. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search details in the multiline.
The system displays the following fields in the “Transaction Details” multiline:
Finance Book |
The code identifying the finance book to which the document for which you wish to modify the dates belongs. |
Business Function |
The business function to which the document for which you wish to modify the dates belongs. |
Doc. Type |
The type of document that you wish to modify the date. |
Doc. # |
The number identifying the document for which you wish modify the date. |
Doc. Date |
The date on which the document for which you wish to modify the date was created. |
Enter the following field in the “Transaction Details” multiline:
Revised Doc. Date |
The revised date to which the doc date is to be modified. Mandatory. Ensure that you specify any date in this field other than the following dates:Example
By default the system displays the 1st date of the next financial period for which the documents are required. More.. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Transaction Details” multiline:
Company Code |
The code of the company to which the document for which date is to be modified belongs. |
Doc. Currency |
The currency of the document for which date is to be modified. |
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the respective modified document dates.
Select the links in the “Calendar Closure Links” section to proceed further:

Select the “Close Payables Function Calendar” link to close a selected financial period or year “Provisionally” or “Finally”
Select the “Close Receivables function Calendar” link
Select the “Close Fixed asset Management Calendar” link to close a selected financial period or year “Provisionally” or “Finally”
Select the “Close MAC Calendar” link to close a MAC year of a financial book.
Select the “Close Finance Book” link to close financial book.
