Inquiring views
You can select the view to be inquired.
Select the “Inquiries” link under the “DCube” business component.
The “Select View” page appears.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a view. Data entry in the following field is optional:
View Name |
The name of the view (Alphanumeric, 255). You can enter the view name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the available views with the view name entered here. |
Select the “Execute View with Filter Inputs” link displayed alongside to execute the view by modifying the filter conditions saved already, or specify new filter conditions.
Select the “Execute View” link displayed alongside to execute the view without modifying saved filter conditions if any, or launches the view directly if no filter conditions exist.
View Type |
Use the drop-down list box to set the view type. The system lists the following options: § Adhoc – Select this option if you wish to retrieve adhoc views. § Audit – Select this option if you wish to retrieve audit views. § Report – Select this option if you wish to retrieve report views. § System – Select this option if you wish to retrieve the in-built views for tracking usage of the view. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following in the “Available Views” multiline:
View Name |
The name of the view. |
View Type |
The type of the view, which could be “Adhoc”, “Audit” or “Report”. |
View Owner |
The name of the user who created the view. |
Check the box in the "Select" column of the multiline to mark the view for inquiry.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Execute View with Filter Inputs” link at the bottom of the multiline, to execute the view by modifying the filter conditions saved already, or by specifying new filter conditions.
Select the “Execute View” link at the bottom of the multiline, to execute view without modifying saved filter conditions if any or launches the view directly if no filter conditions exist.
