Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

This page allows you to enter the allocation details of the parts that have been invoiced in the selected invoice. Allocation of items can be made in this page if you have opted for the “Manual” allocation method. For a unique line number you can enter the number of units of the part that can be shipped. You can also enter the details of the lot, sub lot and the number of units of the individual lot that can be shipped. You can also enter details of the zone and bin in which the part is available in a warehouse. Help facility is available for retrieving the lot, sub lot, zone and bin details of the warehouse.

The “Allocation Details” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Invoice #

The number identifying the invoice.

Total Invoice Amount

The total amount invoiced.

Status

The status of the invoice. It must be “Authorized”.

 
  • Authorized – indicates that the invoice has been authorized. An authorized invoice cannot be modified.

Line #

Use the drop-down list box to select the number identifying the line in which the item details are available. The numbers are available sequentially for selection. The system leaves the field blank by default on launch of the page.

The system displays the following:

Ship to Customer #

The code identifying the customer to whom the material must be shipped.

Part #

The code identifying the part that is available in the selected line number.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

 

Zoom facility available

Sale UOM

The unit of measurement in which the part is sold.

Quantity

The number of units of the part available in the selected line that have been invoiced.

Allocated Quantity

The number of units of the parts that are allocated for shipment (Integer). The value entered in this field must be greater than zero.

Note: The value entered in this field must not be greater than the value available in the “Quantity” field.

The system displays the following:

Warehouse #

The code identifying the warehouse from which the # are to be shipped.

Lot #

The number identifying the lot to which the part belongs (Alphanumeric, 18).

Sub Lot #

The number identifying the sub lot to which the part belongs (Alphanumeric, 28).

Zone

The code identifying the zone in which the part is stored in the warehouse (Alphanumeric, 10).

Bin

The number identifying the bin in which the part is stored in the zone (Alphanumeric, 10).

Quantity

The number of unit of the parts that have to be shipped matching the zone, bin and lot number combination (Integer).

The allocation details are saved for every line number in which the part is available.
