The “Build Kit” page appears with the following details.

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The “Kit Information” group box displays the following.

Kit Build#

The number that identifies the Kit Build transaction.

Kit Operation

The action being performed on the kit, Build or Rebuild.

Reference Details

Additional details on the kit part.

Status

The status of the Kit Build/Kit Re-build transaction, such as Fresh, Confirmed, Allocated, Short closed or Canceled.

Kit Category

The category of the kit part.

User Status

The user status of the kit part.

Requested by

The employee code and name of the person who requested for the kit part.

Kitted by

The employee code and name of the person who assembled the kit part.

The “Warehouse & Part Details” group box displays the following.

Warehouse #

The warehouse that stores the kit part.

Kit Ownership

The ownership of the kit part, such as “Internal” or “Customer”.

Ownership #

The customer who owns the kit part.

Kit Part #

The identification # of the kit part.

Kit Quantity

The number of kit parts available in the warehouse.

Mfr. Part #

The part # of the kit part as allotted by the manufacturer.

Mfr. #

The manufacturer of the kit.

Stock Status

The stock status of the kit part.

Condition

The operational condition of the kit part.

The multiline displays the following.

Mfr. Serial #

The serial # of the kit part as allotted by the manufacturer.

Mfr. Lot #

The lot # of the kit part as allotted by the manufacturer.

Zone #

The zone in the warehouse that stores the kit. The zone # is displayed only if the warehouse for the kit is of type “Normal”.

Bin #

The bin of the zone in the warehouse that stores the kit.

Any comments or additional information on the kit serial #

Serial #

The serial # of the kit as generated by the system.

Lot #

The lot # of the kit as generated by the system.

Inspection Status

The inspection status of the kit, such as Pending, Inspected, Not Applicable or Hold.

Line Status

The status of the kit serial #, such as Fresh, Allocated, Confirmed, Completed or Canceled.

Cancellation Comments

Additional information on cancellation of the kit part.

Line #

The line # for the kit serial # generated by the system at the time of kit building transaction.

The “Kit Serial Info” group box displays the following.

Mfr. Serial #

The serial # of the kit.

Line Status

The status of the kit serial #, such as Fresh, Allocated, Confirmed, Canceled or Short Closed.

Display Option

The display option may be one of the following:

  • “All Constituents”, if the kit operation is “Build” or

  • “Incomplete Constituents”, if the kit operation is “Rebuild”.

The “Kit Constituent Part Info” group box displays the following.

BOM Part #

The constituent part of the kit as defined in the “Maintain Kit Composition” activity.

Constituent Part #

The constituent part in the kit.

Quantity

The numbers of constituent part in the kit.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the constituent part.

Placement Zone #

The zone in the warehouse to which the break quantity of the constituent part is returned.

Bin #

The bin in the warehouse to which the break quantity of the constituent part is returned.

Stock Status

The stock status of the constituent part.

Condition

The operational condition of the constituent part.

Serial #

The serial # of the constituent part of the kit.

Mfr. Serial #

The serial # of the constituent part as allotted by the manufacturer.

Lot #

The lot # of the constituent part of the kit.

Mfr. Lot #

The lot # of the constituent part as allotted by the manufacturer.

Zone #

The zone in the warehouse to which the break quantity of the constituent part is returned.

Bin #

The bin in the warehouse to which the break quantity of the constituent part is returned.

The part # of the constituent part as allotted by the manufacturer.

The manufacturer of the constituent part.

Expiry Date

The date till which the constituent part is valid for use.

The name/short description of the constituent part as defined in the “Maintain Kit Composition” activity.

Constituent Part Description

The name/short description of the constituent part.

The “Additional Info” group box displays the following.

Allow Incomplete Kit?

Indicates whether the kit part is allowed to be built even if one or more of the constituents are allocated in less than requisite quantities.

The “Other Info” group box displays the following.

Remarks

Additional information on the kit part, such as guidelines for usage.

The “Record Statistics” group box displays the following updated information.

Created by

The code and name of the employee who built the kit for the first time.

Created Date

The date on which the kit was built for the first time.

Last Modified by

The code and name of the employee who most recently modified the kit.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the kit was most recently modified.
